The cracked pattern comes straight from the mountains Ice breaking up on frozen lakes, fractured granite faces. Knit in muted grey.
The fabric took several sample rounds to get right: 50% merino wool for warmth, breathability and natural odor resistance. 45% acrylic for durability and structure. 5% elastane, so it stretches over any head and always returns to its shape.

Merino mostly takes care of itself. Air it out overnight and it's usually fresh again. When it does need a wash:
Machine wash cold (30 °C) on a wool cycle, or hand wash
Mild wool detergent, no fabric softener
Turn inside out before washing
Lay flat to dry, no tumble dryer
If needed, light steam instead of ironing
