Hey, I'm Lennart.

Kabru is a one person outdoor brand from Kiel, in the very north of Germany. I design everything myself, pack every order myself and answer every message myself.

The name comes from Kabru South, 7318 meters, the southernmost 7000er in the world. That mountain sums up what this brand is about: find what you'd die for. Then live for it.

It started with a simple problem. Outdoor gear either looks technical and cold, or it looks good but has no soul. I wanted pieces that feel like the mountains and still belong at the boulder wall, on the trail and in everyday life.

The first product is a merino beanie with a cracked pattern knitted straight into the fabric, not printed. We threw away the first six samples. Sample seven was the one.

Kabru is built slowly and honestly. Real photos, small batches, no shortcuts. You do not need to climb 8a to wear it. If being outside is part of who you are, you already belong.

Come outside. It's worth it.
